Historically, Saint-Gobain PAM has built its strategy around two axes:
- technological innovation (centrifugation, ductile cast iron, coatings, etc.),
- strong internationalization.
Today, around 150 engineers and university partners keep working on innovation and industrial excellence, allowing Saint-Gobain PAM to hold 1,500 patents, registered across the world, for over 150 inventions.
The willingness to innovate is the driving force to provide products that are adapted to changing markets. Each year between 30 to 40% of our turnover is realized thanks to the sales of new products (commercialized during the 5 previous years).
Research and development
PAM’s research engineers, in collaboration with many universities, file over a hundred patents every year. Their expertise in the fields of metallurgy and the resistance of materials, coatings and manufacturing processes is put at your service so that new and increasingly effective solutions are always available to you.
Every year, the research centre files more than 50 inventions with the French National Institute of Industrial Property. Saint-Gobain PAM is the author of 1,500 patents around the world and today possesses more than 150 inventions.
