Sustainable development

Saint-Gobain PAM

Saint-Gobain PAM has a policy of sustainable development that covers the entire lifecycle of its products. This ‘green’ investment is possible thanks to the principal material used: cast iron, which is a noble, ductile material and can be recycled over and over.

Saint-Gobain PAM reduces the energy and natural resource requirements of water transport systems as well as their CO2 emissions thanks to:

  • pipelines with an optimized thickness that lasts longer
  • the development of ergonomic installation techniques.

At every step, from the design of products to their transport and use, the company fosters an energetic form of development based on responsible and sustainable patterns of consumption and production.
